Volunteers are the heart of Habitat for Humanity of Martha’s Vineyard. Volunteers lend a hand to build, renovate, and provide materials, labor, and repair homes with us each year. Habitat MV welcomes individual volunteers to ensure that everyone can live in decent, affordable, and sustainable housing.

Join our crew, no experience needed. We are always in need of folks to help build, paint, lift, organize on site, and more! Volunteers make our projects possible, and you get to meet some great folks along the way.

Professional partnerships
Donated professional services have an enormous impact on our projects leading to faster completion times and financial efficiency. Our projects would not be possible without professional folks who help us complete the technical components. Carpenters, lawyers, plumbers, electricians, landscapers, engineers and more.

Donate materials
We both reduce cost, and carbon footprint, by using salvaged materials wherever possible. What we can’t use in our next projects, we sell to support the ongoing Habitat efforts.
We also keep a list of folks looking for used appliances, building materials, etc. If you’re looking for something in particular, we can alert you when it’s available
